Wake up in a Miracle is a self-performed video work that constructs a form of “technical illusion” through green-screen intervention and deliberately artificial bodily states. The body appears, suspends and reappears in ways that defy physical logic, while the green screen itself becomes an apparatus of revelation—continually switching the figure between visibility and erasure.
What reaches the viewer is a body that is obscured, anonymous and ultimately unidentifiable, accompanied by a fractured and discontinuous voice. By treating the green-screen body as a metaphorical device, the work questions the violent logic underpinning the politics of visibility and the fragile conditions under which a subject becomes seeable—or disappears.
